where the evidence is less settled

much of what is discussed around "hormone health" online, including specific percentages of women experiencing particular symptoms, or claims about how quickly a food or supplement changes hormone levels, is far less settled than it may appear. individual studies often use small samples, different measurement methods, or different populations, which makes broad statistics difficult to state with confidence.

we would rather leave a gap in this report than fill it with a number we cannot stand behind.
